Hey I'm Tash,
I created this program because I believe music can do more than just make kids dance. It can help them feel powerful, connected, and proud of who they are.I came into DJing later in life by following a passion my inner kid never forgot. As someone who’s neurodiverse myself, DJing helped me reconnect with joy, confidence, and creativity in a way that felt like coming home.Since then, I’ve been teaching kids and running workshops across Australia, and I’ve DJed for crowds from 10 to 45,000. From small community classrooms to Leavers Festival, international sport events, and music festivals, I’ve seen what happens when sound, movement, and authenticity collide.The tech these days makes it easier than ever for kids to succeed and feel proud of what they create. Whether they’re shy, quirky, neurodiverse, sporty, or somewhere in-between, every student deserves to feel celebratedEvery CTRL DJ School session is designed to be emotionally safe, creatively empowering, and most importantly, fun.
